Daily quotes expire by 8:25 a.m. CST the day following the quote date. Each category is quoted at the highest weight, shown in the highlighted row for that category. For example, fed cattle quoted at 1600 lbs. so the cost per head and revenue per head is for a 1600 lb. steer/heifer. If your target weight would be lower, such as 1400 lbs., then use the coverage price per cwt times 14 to determine your revenue to protect per head. Then take the cost per cwt times 14 for the premium per head. Figure the difference to arrive at a net floor per head. For a more personalized quote, please contact an agent.​
